Terms of Service
By creating a cat or playing MeowStreets you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not play. What we collect and how long we keep it is on the privacy page.
Who can play
You must be at least 13, and at least 16 in the parts of the EEA that set the age there. MeowStreets is a crime game: the crimes are cartoon ones committed by cats, but it is still a crime game.
Your account
- You are responsible for everything done on your account. Use a unique password, keep your recovery code safe and never share either.
- Pick a cat name that would not get you reported. Staff can rename a cat whose name breaks the rules below.
- Do not use extra accounts to feed, shield or boost another one, and do not get around a ban or a trade lock with a new account.
How to behave
- No harassment, hate, threats, sexual content involving minors, spam or scams in chat, names or anywhere else players can read.
- Do not share anyone's private information, including your own.
- No bots, scripts or automation that play for you, and no exploiting bugs. If you find one, tell us at support@meowstreets.com.
- Do not attack, overload or try to break into the site, other players' accounts or the staff panel.
Robbing, mugging and outplaying other cats inside the rules of the game is the game. Doing it to a person outside the game is not.
What staff can do
To keep the city playable, staff may hide chat, warn, mute, suspend or permanently ban a cat, rename it, and remove cash, items or progress gained by breaking these terms. Every staff action is logged. If you think a decision was wrong, write to support@meowstreets.com.
Cash and items are not money
Everything in the city — cash, items, shares, stats, crews and hideouts — is part of the game, has no real-world value and belongs to the game, not to you. It cannot be exchanged for real money. Buying or selling accounts, cash or items for anything outside the game is not allowed.
Paid extras
MeowStreets is free to play. The only things sold for real money are the Fat Cat Pack and the Fat Cat Membership, and what each costs and contains is on the pricing page.
- You must be at least 16 to buy, and have a parent's or guardian's permission if you are under 18.
- Payments are taken by Creem, which sells to you as the merchant of record. We never see your card details.
- Fat Cat Packs can be bought 1, 2, 5, 10 or 25 at a time in one checkout, at the same price for every pack, with no discount for buying more. Every Fat Cat Pack, whether bought or delivered with a membership, arrives sealed in your inventory, and each one is opened on its own. Until it is opened it stays with that account and cannot be traded, sold or given to another cat. Opening it adds its city cash and supplies to your cat and raises its energy cap to 150 for 30 days.
- What you buy becomes part of the game, like everything above, and that includes the city cash in a pack: it has no real-world value, cannot be exchanged for real money or for anything outside the game, and is not refunded if the account is closed for breaking these terms.
- A membership renews every month until you cancel. Cancel at any time and it lasts to the end of the period you have paid for. A price change is announced before it applies to your next renewal.
- Refunds follow the refund policy. Packs are refunded per pack: a refund takes back one sealed pack for each pack refunded, but never the city cash, supplies or energy cap from one that has been opened. Disputing a charge with your bank takes back the packs from that order that are still sealed, ends any membership and closes the store to the account until staff have reviewed it.
The game changes
This is a live game. Prices, odds, payouts and features are rebalanced, added and removed, and a change can make something you own worth less. We may pause, reset or close the game. We try to announce anything major in the game first.
No guarantees
MeowStreets is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. It may be down, lose progress or contain bugs. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of in-game items or progress. Nothing here limits a right you have under the consumer law where you live.
Leaving
You can stop playing at any time, and ask for your account to be deleted by writing to privacy@meowstreets.com from the address on the account. We may close an account that breaks these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any dispute about them or about MeowStreets is for the courts of the United Arab Emirates. If you play as a consumer somewhere else, you keep any protection the law where you live gives you that cannot be waived.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and playing after a change means you accept it.
