The MeowStreets handbook

MeowStreets is a free, persistent, multiplayer crime RPG that runs in a browser tab. Every player is a street cat working the same city at the same time: you spend nerve on crimes, energy on the gym, and the rest of your attention on the other cats. This handbook is the whole rule set, generated from the live game's own tables — when a payout changes, this page changes with it.

Every crime in MeowStreets

The city runs on 12 crimes across 3 districts, from turning over a dumpster to emptying a museum case. Each one costs nerve, pays a range, and has its own sentence waiting if it goes wrong.

Every piece of equipment

24 weapons, armour and accessories in four tiers. A weapon carries base damage, armour carries mitigation, and an accessory carries stats — and the market buys any of it back at half price, so climbing the tiers costs real money.

Tools, consumables and loot

The market sells the tools a crime consumes and the consumables that refill a bar; the city hands out the loot and the three district rares that can only be found on a clean job.

Every job in the city

Honest money. A shift runs 12 hours and blocks nothing while it does — you start it, play the rest of the city, and collect when it lands.

Every gym and what it favours

Stats are bought with energy, and where you spend it decides what grows. A gym is unlocked by the energy you have already spent training, not by your level — the ladder rewards the hours, not the birthday.

Every course and what it unlocks

20 courses in 4 tracks. A course runs offline and finishes whether you are here or not, which makes the long ones the reason to come back next week rather than tonight.

Every hideout

Where a cat sleeps decides how happy it can be, and happiness is the multiplier under every hour at the gym. The ladder runs from a cardboard box to an Old Quarter townhouse, and the good end charges rent.

Nothing here is a spoiler and nothing here is a substitute: the numbers are only the frame. Create a cat — it is free, it runs in the tab you already have open, and it installs to a phone home screen.
