Tier 4 heists: $1,500 in, $2,600 out
A tier 4 job is what a leader at level 20 opens. A leader always gets the highest band their level meets, so this is the deal from level 20 upward. Each cat in the clowder stakes $1,500 and comes home with that back plus about $2,600 if the job lands, or $500 if it does not.
| Leader level | Level 20 |
|---|---|
| Clowder | 2–3 cats, one role each |
| Stake a cat | $1,500 |
| Profit a cat on success | $2,600 |
| Returned on a bust | $500 |
| At risk a cat | $1,000 |
| Base success chance | 35% |
| Best odds reachable | 83% |
| Run time | 30 minutes |
| Kit | $150 for +8% odds |
| Launch cost a cat | 20 energy and 10 nerve |
| XP | 20 on success, 5 on a bust |
What the job is worth
A cat risks $1,000 — the stake less the $500 a bust hands back — against $2,600. At the band's base 35% that is about $260 an attempt, and it breaks even at 28%, under the base chance itself — so a clowder that has trained nothing is already on the right side of it. A full clowder of 3 shares a pool of $7,800 on a success: half of it evenly, half by role skill.
Reaching the ceiling
Odds start at 35% and the clowder raises them: up to 10 points from each cat's role stat, 10 for filling all 3 seats, and 8 for a $150 kit. 3 cats at the role cap with a kit reach 83%, which is under the 85% ceiling: on this band the arithmetic runs out before the cap does. A pair, however well trained, tops out at 63%.
Who can join one
Only the leader's level is read, and only when the lobby opens. A cat of any level can take a seat in a tier 4 job and is paid out of the same pool as everyone else, which is why the fastest way onto a richer band is to be invited onto one rather than to level into it. This is the top of the ladder: no level beyond 20 changes the deal.
